Welcome to Taqueria Los Dos Laredos, a beloved gem tucked away at 1303 S Hackberry St in vibrant San Antonio, TX. This charming little Mexican restaurant, while modest in appearance, promises a culinary experience that bursts with authenticity and flavor.

The dining atmosphere here is cozy and unpretentious, characterized by a homey decor that makes you feel right at home – think friendly smiles and a wafting aroma of spices that beckons you to explore the menu. Although the space may be small and in need of a little sprucing up, the heart of this establishment lies in its fiercely passionate approach to serving delicious food. As customer John Willis aptly points out, “the food is excellent,” serving as a delightful invitation to anyone curious enough to peek inside.

Taqueria Los Dos Laredos specializes in delectable Mexican cuisine that showcases dishes tailored to satisfy every craving. Start off with the gorditas, where you can savor homemade corn tortillas filled with your choice of meats such as luscious Carne Asada or spicy Pollo. And if you're feeling adventurous, why not venture into their renowned Hamburguesa Mexicana? At just US$7.49, this burger is nothing short of a fiesta on a bun!

For a more filling option, try the Platillos Los Dos Laredos lunch plate featuring tender chicken and beef fajitas accompanied by vibrant bell peppers, onions, rice, and beans for US$8.99. It's a truly satisfying experience that warms the soul. Customers rave about the enchiladas Verdes, which have been praised for their remarkable flavor — “the best I've had in a very long time,” declares Melisa M.

And let’s not forget about the little ones! With child-friendly plates like the Carne Guisada Taco or Enchilada, both for just US$3.99, Taqueria Los Dos Laredos ensures that even the youngest diners leave with a smile on their face.

While the restaurant's surroundings might give some pause, patrons like Lizzette Garcia remind us that sometimes the best meals come from the most unexpected places. She enthusiastically notes, “Not sure if it's just me but the sketchier the area the better the food!” This sentiment captures the essence of culinary adventure; it’s all about what’s on your plate, and here, it’s all incredibly good.

The friendly staff contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, often getting you in and out efficiently, as noted by BRC Media, who enjoyed a quick yet satisfying brunch. Compliments flow not just for the speed, but for the genuine kindness displayed by the team — a rarity that enhances the dining experience beyond just food.

Taqueria Los Dos Laredos is a small, somewhat dingy restaurant, but the food is excellent. The dining area is about a 25x25 foot room and needs a remodel. I ordered the parrilladas fajita mix and my wife got the chicken quesadillas. Both tasted fresh and were serve hot and quick.

I normally don't eat much of the chips and salsa but the salsa was dope. I couldn't stop eating it. The enchiladas Verdes was the best I've had in a very long time.

I had the best seafood soup here. Also had a bite of the carne asada that was perfectly seasoned and oh so soft. The food was so ridiculously good I have to come back from Dallas SOON to try everything!

Delicious...I was in and out in the drive thru in 7 minutes....ordered a few tacos and enchilada's... Came in for brunch so not too many cars in line. Friendly staff and good food at a reasonable price. We will definitely be back if in the area again. Thanks so much for the papita...

Delicious potatoe and bacon taco! Hubby had the migas and I couldn't help but try them also. Delicious! Gotta look past the bullet hole on the door and the sketchy area and homeless around. Not sure if it's just me but the sketchier the area the better the food:) Saving this place for future travels.

I came in from Austin to visit my brother and happened upon this place. I had chicken fajita mini tacos, came with all the fixings. Its plentiful and very delicious. My mom had pork chop plate, she said they cooked and flavored it to perfection. Even got my niece and nephew tacos, my niece who is usually very picky and doesn't eat, gobbled up her tacos. It wasn't very busy inside, but there was a drive thru that we kept seeing people go to. They are very fast and very kind. I would definitely go bac. I want to try more things
